About
My name is Kate Nickerson and I am a senior at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I am majoring in Graphic Communication — a nationally recognized program at Cal Poly. I formerly worked for the Mustang Daily, Cal Poly’s student-run and student-printed daily newspaper, as the sports designer. I currently work as a graphic designer for Campus Dining.
After being exposed to the many facets of graphic design, I have found that I am most interested in print design, web design, brand identity, and typography. I plan on using this blog to share useful skills I acquire, learn from others, and advance my knowledge of graphic design.
